PRODUCEUMI
UBC's only student-run record label and production company.
Demo submissions closed We're taking demo submissions to choose this cycle's artists.
How it works
PRODUCEUMI is UBC’s only student-run record label and production company. Each cycle we take on student artists, pair them with student producers to write, record and mix, then release the finished track and put the artist on a UMI stage.
Demo submissions are open now for this cycle, and music production workshops start in term 2.

Who can send a demo?
Anyone! You don't need production experience or a finished song, and our producers cover recording and production as you go.
Do you run production workshops?
Yes. Music production workshops start in term 2. Watch the events page and our Instagram for dates.
Who owns the song?
You do. UMI shares finished songs here and on our socials, with credit, only with your permission.
Got a song idea?
Bring a rough mix, or a finished track. We listen to every submission.
